Originally from A Coruña (b. 1987), Alejandro Vázquez Roibás—professionally known as Alex Rocha—embodies a story of constant evolution and profound respect for electronic music culture. His journey began at the young age of 14, honing his skills on classic Stanton turntables. This early dedication to the art of mixing shaped his sound within the local underground scene, a sonic identity later deeply influenced by the purest House music legacy at the mythical Mad House store.

Under the prestigious Fanzine quality seal, Alex Rocha returned to the studios and DJ booths with a renewed technical maturity and a refined musical vision. His subsequent rise has been meteoric; he was recognized as a Finalist in the renowned Ibiza Sónica contest, a milestone that propelled him to perform on some of the most emblematic stages across the White Island.

Today, Alex Rocha is a consolidated figure with a strong international presence, consistently reaching the top spots on global electronic music charts within the Organic and Deep House genres. His recent signing with Monlife Records for the release of his original productions firmly cements his status as a forward-thinking artist.
